# 3 Permission to Drink Water

Permission to Drink Water
The arms of the figure on the right represent “holding back,” like a person would so when trying to stop an animal from getting past. This often represents ownership. The two heads beneath the arms probably represent the family of this individual. The sheep on the left again represents people and is filled with little dots that represent water. Notice that the sheep is leaving filled with water. The sheep has erect ears which means “to hearken” or “listen.” Evidently he hearkened to the fact that this spring was owned so he asked for the water and was given some.
